How Our Spin Wheel Works

Our Spin Wheel divides the available choices into equal sections. Every filled choice receives its own section, so the wheel changes automatically when options are added or removed.

When you click SPIN, JavaScript randomly selects one available option. The tool then calculates the exact angle needed to place the middle of that option’s colored section underneath the fixed pointer.

The wheel makes several complete rotations before slowing down. The pointer remains fixed while the complete colored wheel rotates underneath it.

The option labels are positioned at the center area of their corresponding sections and counter-rotated so they remain readable while the wheel moves.

After the wheel stops, the selected choice is displayed in the result area and added to the result history.
